Seth,

Could you give us a bit more on what you are looking for in the way of characters?

What kind of characters are Drew and Holly playing?

I know Ray and my friend Andy are excited about the prison idea and want to play. So I can work with them to get characters made or at least figured out.

click here for my thread about it. i will probably do some changing to my original mission plans to incorporate more time as prisoners

if you want to have a character with jedi powers, that's fine. however, he'd probably be trying to hide them since he's a prisoner. it's not a smart idea to advertise having jedi powers while a prisoner of the empire. you probably want to stick with "normal" species characters for this. i doubt an ewok would be in an imperial prison for ANY reason. probably won't be any kids either, but if you really want one i'll work with it. The events will occur between episodes 4 and 5.

and remember, no starting equipment or money. you start with prison rags and your wits.

this will be the most involved thing i've GM'd so far. i hope i'm up to pulling this off and keeping it both fun and interesting.

Cool.

I'd like to know what Drew, Holly and some others are playing so we don't have too much overlap.

I've completely forgotten what I made, but I'll check tonight. Also, I might make a new guy. I think Holly created an alien who believes she's the Grim Reaper of her culture... she even has black wings.

I remember you talking about Holly's Grim Reaper. Sounded awesome.

Right now I'm torn between an Outlaw and an Armchair Historian. Seth which would work better? It seems we'll need some brain power. Though I'm still kind of sick of playing smart characters. But maybe I'll think of something to make it cool.

I know my friend Andy was wanting a Brash Pilot. I'll find out about Ray.

i don't mind if you want to have a cyborg, but i'll need to approve your enhancements; no terminators. remember you'll have been stripped of anything removable. it probably won't help you much in prison.

the way this campaign is starting out, characters will NOT know each other at first. you'll have to meet and interact. play what you all want to play, but keep in mind the prison setting at the beginning. i will need to approve all non-template or odd alien characters just to keep things somewhat balanced and reasonable. if it's human sized and has human-like abilities/stats, then it's probably okay. things like claws, wings, fangs, etc. still need to be purchased and approved.

Okay, I'll post here about characters. So far from what I've heard talking on the 26th, most of the characters created so far all melee combat centered. Your characters will have to think and use other skills as well, so please keep this in mind. I strongly recommend a balanced group since ideally I will cover a wide range of situations during this campaign. To this end PLEASE POST YOUR CHARACTER TYPES HERE! The template and/or primary stats is sufficient. That way everyone can plan accordingly.

PS- We are planning to start this campaign April 3rd at 10am, with probably an hour to finalize characters if needed. Be prepared to roleplay out your character based upon his past and personality when you meet the other characters, both PC and NPC.

Currently I created an Outlaw who wants to be a pilot, but isn't great at it. However, I can create a different character if we are too melee/combat heavy.

Matt, is Andy coming? If so, is he still planning on playing a brash pilot? Also, what is Ray playing?

I may scratch my outlaw and try to come up with someone more technical or something since it seems like we'll have brains, brawn, and, erm, brashpiloting.

Andy is going to be out of town. Ray is thinking about his character.
